Fun Fact‼️: A demo of “Steady Tides” was briefly released back in the summer 2022. At the time, we were not quite experienced enough for the studio (nor could we afford it!), but we were in such a rush to get some music out into the world.
….However, we were very unhappy with the quality of the song, so we removed it from streaming platforms as soon as we could!
….And this was clearly to the dismay of a loyal fan :(

And now we’re here!! 3 years later!! We hope “Steady Tides” was worth the wait —especially for our Reddit Söūpy!! We knew it needed time to cook —as all good soup does 😉

3 summers ago, a few wide-eyed high school kids spent just one fateful July afternoon sailing the seas of creation. That afternoon, 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐓𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐬 came to be Söūp’s first true original piece of music.

Söūpy friends, it is with full hearts that we ask you to jump into this year of new opportunity with us. Söūp has undergone some insane changes this year that have helped us to blossom into the band we are today. We have seen our lowest and highest points in the span of 365 days, and for these tremendous experiences, we are incredibly grateful. We have learned countless lessons this year through the various triumphs and failures that have found us. We are inspired by each and every experience, be it humbling or uplifting.

In January of 2023, Söūp started the year as an incomplete entity. However, through months of hard work, patience, and faith, came reward. In the spring of 2023 we met our dearest friend, @_hjaffe23 .Until that moment, we could only dream of meeting a more dedicated, creative, talented, passionate, gentle, and kind hearted individual as him. We are so blessed to have Harrison in our band(family). Buddy, you’re forever Söūp.

Another insane milestone that Söūp reached this year was getting to record our original song, The Captain. Dropping The Captain at 12:00 a.m on New Year’s Day was exhilarating. First and foremost, we’d like to express our gratitude for having the privilege to work with THE @keelan_jack_ in engineering our song. Jack truly has a gift for producing an incredible mix. He has shown us kindness, patience, honesty, skill, and unwavering support. Dear local bands, consider recording with Jack Keelan for your next release.

All in all, We are so incredibly grateful for all the support that each and every one of you have given us. We are so honored to have created art that resonates with wonderful people like you. Keep streaming The Captain! More coming soon!
